Greetings ,
We just got a great huge new bridge here in Charleston SC and since I have been driving over it I have discovered something. On the trip down the bridge I can usually just coast at about 45/50 mph without touching the accellerator pedal. While I am coasting down the bridge I have noticed that the engine sputters. It sounds like the exhaust is spitting (kinda?).Is this a sign of something bad. I have a 1978 f-100 w/ a 351m. My exhaust manifold is real old and rusty and the truck is generally loud. I plan on replacing soon (maybe with headers). Is that why it makes that sound? thanx
