Gotta Love It..
125+ in Death Valley...down to 95+ at 1am in Baker...
A Record of 117 in Las Vegas...
700 miles round trip to Las Vegas and the old Aero didnt miss a beat...
and it got great mileage...
I did NOT run the air...I may be crazy but I am not stupid...
To stay cool the wife and I played war with spray bottles of water...

the best ac is the spray kind.
my buddy and i took a trip to colorado springs, it hit like 110 in idaho and we had the heater on to cool the engine in the 74 malibu. we were pulling a 3000 pound u-hual trailer.
we had frozen milk jugs full of water, and my buddy just stuck his spray bottle head on top the jug, refreshing! but as soon as you got wet, the water was gone, instant evaporation. but it felt good.
a note about aerostar AC...
my 1995 4.0 AC gets ice cold in exactly 10 seconds flat, front and rear. is that normal? my last aeros ac didnt even work. so i dunno.
