radio install

How do I take the trim panel off from around the radio?Brand new truck and I don't want to break anything.

get your fingers around the bottom of the panel and pull out on it starting at one corner it is held in by some very strong clips you have to pull prety hard on it but they will come out then it's just a matter of removing the 4 7mm (i think) bolts holding the radio in andout it comes

You need to take a thin flat head screw driver and slide it gingerly into the crevess above the instrument panel on the dash. Pry it slightly so you can get the pulling started with your fingers. Now start around the edges and pull, but don't be afraid to give it some elbow grease. The clips are very stubborn, but they will pull loose. The entire raidio section will release, but the passenger air bag light will remian connected. No need to disconnect that light because you can work around it. Once you are finished pop everthing back in place and your done.
