I have a 1982 F-100 stepside.
I am in the process of putting a 429 in it.
The 429 motor is bored, balanced and blueprinted.
Bored .30 over, dove heads etc.
This motor tore up too many transfer cases in other trucks, so i am putting it in a two wheel drive truck, which happens to be a 1982 F-100 stepside.
I will be lookin for honda civics, toyota supras and the like .
I am not expecting much from them as they are not much compared to my Crown Victoria highway patrol car.
Any questions or comments are appreciated.
Sounds like you have a hreat truck there. Check out the 80-86 forum as well as the engine specific forum for your truck. You will find a ton of great info.
