First post, looking at a 74
Hey everyone, just joined, first post. Been looking at the old ford trucks for a while. Now I went and saw one the other day ('74 F-250 Ranger) and it has some notches cut in to the bed rails, that could be patched without too much trouble, but I'm kind of looking to get a truck that I'll want to put some money in so. Where would I be able to find a bed for this truck or does anyone have one? I didn't see a for sale or wanted section to the forum so I'm gonna post it here. Also it needs new clerance light lenses, and bulbs, where the best place to get those LMC? Any help would be appreciated.

welcome to the site,you can get a great deal of help from others on this site.hope you feel welcome and at home here. i would suggest searching out parts on other sections of the FTE site,look in your areas auto wreckers,and possibly try LMC,or other ford truck related parts suppliers . if you keep your eyes and ears open theres always someone getting rid of the exact parts you are looking for. you just have to be patient,or you will pay too much.-once again,welcome,andhappy hunting!-billy

Welcome, you can check out the classifed adds on this fourm, and go to local Junk yards to find parts for cheap, and if you look around long anough you'll find parts in pretty good condition. LMC isn't the best place for parts or price. You can try http://www.broncograveyard.com they sell many high quality parts at good prices.
