fuel tanks

hi ... i have a 1996 f150 when i switch from the front tank to the back tank my truck dies out why please help......

Either your switch is bad or the pump in the rear tank is bad. I would try to check the switch first. Try jumping the wires if you hear the pump then it is the switch. Good Luck.

Check the wiring too, its been known to corrode or short out.
