Hi, im E350's mom and I have some questions. We are looking to get rid of our chevy express van, with 230,xxx miles on it. We are looking for a new van, possibly a mercedes sprinter or another chev express.
1. Is the express LT still available? I asked a saleswoman and she said she didn't know what I was talking about.
2. Does the sprinter have a package with leather, an entertainment system and quad capitain's chairs? How is the E-350 chateau?
3. We tow with the van at least once a week. Will the chev or sprinter be able to tow a 25' travel trailer?
1. Is the express LT still available? I asked a saleswoman and she said she didn't know what I was talking about. No- cancelled after one brief model year run.
2. Does the sprinter have a package with leather, an entertainment system and quad capitain's chairs? How is the E-350 chateau? Not that I'm aware of in the Sprinter- that market emphasis is commercial, not private. Ford offers this, but only as a E150 Chateau.
3. We tow with the van at least once a week. Will the chev or sprinter be able to tow a 25' travel trailer? Need to know more about the trailerweight, although the Mercedes Sprinter is very limited in power for towing duty. Both Chevy and Ford offer towing packages for a variety of uses, and the Ford Powerstroke Diesel might be an option to consider in a E350.
My parents have a few more questions. Is the E-350 available with capitains chairs in all 4 rows, or do they have to get benches? Also, what is the tow capacity? For some reason our 2 trucks don't have the tow package.
