Arrow Forum Guidelines - Read Before Posting

This is the 1980 - 1986 F-Series Trucks Forum. We talk about general questions regarding the F-Series.

This site has Technical Forums for major parts of the vehicle like:
Engine
Transmission
Axle
Transfer case
General Suspension
Electrics/wiring...etc etc

If your question ONLY deals with a major part of the vehicle, like the ones above, put it in that respective forum.

The 80-86 truck forum is for general questions about these trucks. Questions that deal with component specific areas do not belong here. This forum is not a free-for-all where any 80-86 question gets asked. The questions here should be ones that other forums do not cover.

The site has a Classified section for items that you are selling. Please post all such items in the classified section. Wanted items will be allowed but please post when you have procured the item you needed.

The forum should be fun and interesting to all whom share in it, so any badgering or putting others down will not be tolerated and such posts removed immediately.

If you receive helpful information here then please leave feedback. We all try to help others and it is nice to know when things go right. This also allows others to gain information as to what worked and what didn't.

To Experienced Users! If you see a post that you think might not belong, click the "Report this post to a moderator" button and I will take care of it. If you have any questions or comments, please contact me privately. That button is the small red triangle with the "!" in it on the upper right hand corner of a post.

Thank you, and happy motoring!

Well Rollie you have a good point!
You should rename the title: 1980 to 1986 F-Series Trucks Guidelines And Post it as a Sticky

Steve, I wish I could change the name, but in reality this title will get people to look where a guideline will get skipped over. Thanks for reading it and the comments.

Well I alwase read the guidelines, and everybody should!
It should be manditory to read the guidelines for every sub forum before a user is able to post to a thread. It would likely clean up the boards and give people better understanding on where to poast. Well my 5 cents, this might help somewhere!

Hey Fordborn, I'm new here and reading this first and you say "This site has Technical Forums for major parts of the vehicle like: Engine Transmission Axle Transfer case General Suspension Electrics/wiring...etc etc
And I have a wiring question but can't figure out how to get to the wiring forum. What am I missing?
