Leaking ABS stop switch

Can someone help. I don't have a clue how to replace it.

give some more detail is this the switch off the brake pedal or where. what year truck are we talking about. I could probaly give you the proper directions but need more info.

Opps not abs

Sorry must have had abs on the brain. Fixed that last weeks. This was the cruise off sensor. Looking at it from the top I could not see how to get it off. Then after feeling around I found the nutt under the rim around the sensor. New one was 30 bucks, took longer to get my opened end 9/16 and 7/8th wrench than it did to pull it and replace.

what year truck? you might want to look and make sure there's no recall for that. ford redid all the cruise control parts.

It is a 1997, It was not listed in the recall. So the 30 bucks is on me. The only thing that gets me about this whole deal is it could have burnt my house down, not to metion killed someone. I have the other defects this year model has. Cracking door, leaking back slider, leaking windsheild. So a little crack, some water in the truck big deal. Fire is a whole differant story. This is my second Ford truck, the 1st never made it home from the dealer the day I purchased it. Took me ten years to buy another one. It has been a great truck, but I find that Fords response on a 30 dollar life treating part disturbing. Not saying any of the others are any better. Then again a new Lariat is 35k, funny how 30 dollars might sway my purchase to another brand of truck.

what really amazes me is the amount of houses that had to burn down before ford admited that there was a problem. where on the door did it crack? mine cracked between the window and door jam. Also you said the windshield seal leaks. i think mine has that problem. i just joined this site so i had no idea of all these common problems. mines leaking right through the passenger side handle.
