95 X - tran fluid, cd changer, climate ctrl
Take a peek at just how much it took to get it within proper range:

So is this much considered grey-area? I think they are idiots, personally. It still shifts crazy.
Anyone ever have probs with their console CD changer? Mine sometimes says CD ERR and the CD gets stuck in the changer and the cartridge won't eject. Pain in the ***. I took it out and have it all apart here.. lemme take a pic:

That green slime is some grease I just put on there. I searched around for tips and the only I could find was to grease the moving parts so.. that's what I did. I don't see anything obvious, and I don't want to take it further apart unless I KNOW I need to, it doesn't look fun to fiddle with these little pins and stuff that are wedged between the casing frame.. anyhow. Just wondering if anyone has messed with that.
Also I was wondering if anyone has noticed their air temp control panel on the dash was extremely hot? I've been noticing that panel gets friggin HOT, I don't remember it doing that way back when. Here's a pic of that control panel in case you don't know what I'm referring to. It's the one with the big temperature displayed on it, there at the bottom under the radio:

HOT man, I mean HOT. Isn't the GEM or something back there?
I press the eject button on the changer and it seems that there's a CD stuck between the cartridge and the changer - it will wiggle back and forth a bit and the motor whines but it doesn't get anywhere. If i press eject while pressing on the face of the cartridge repeatedly, it eventually catches the CD fully in the cartridge and ejects.
After that I can reinsert the cartridge and the changer will act normal until it errors again.
I wonder if this has anything to do with using burned CD-Rs in there? I haven't tried using only commercial CDs. I will give it a whirl today.
