2001 SuperCrew rear differential
Hello,
I know I have seen a thread on this somewhere, but I can't seem to relocate it. Sorry to start a duplicate thread.
I have been having a groan in my differential for a while and from the threads I read, it appears to maybe be the limited slip clutches sticking. As I read, I picked up some Royal Purple and limited slip additive and plan to change out the fluid this weekend. My question is, Do I need to flush out the differential before I add the new fluid? If so, what do I use to flush it with? Also, my auto parts guy tells me that he shows no listing for a differential cover gasket. Does this have a reusable gasket or do I just use a sealer?
