Fuel Filter Change 2003

Hello- How do I change the filter in my 03, does it require a special tool to release the fuel lines??

Before we begin, the most important question is: what kind of engine you have? The 7.3L PSD, 6.0L PSD, 6.8L V10, or the 5.4 V8?

Sorry, don't know much about the V10 mechanically. Do a search on the V10 forum or even this one and something should pop up explaining the procedure. Best of luck to ya'

Yes, it does require a special tool to disengage the lines from the filter, but the tool is really cheap and is available wherever you are planning on buying the filter.
