Yeah, no kidding. A friend of mine is looking to buy an Arctic Cat snowmobile and the other day he ask me, "do you think Cat will offer an employee discount for everyone program?"
The way Cat's sales have been lately, it wouldnt surprise me...

hehe, i got that same email....thought the SAME thing....did you know FOMOCO is doing it too?
Dodge is doing the same thing. I can sorta understand Ford and Dodge doing it too, atleast they're in the same business. I just have a feeling a lot of off-spring companies will follow suit and we're gonna see this type of thing EVERYWHERE.
Since when is Arctic Cat having trouble with sales? Their stuff is great and I'm an avid Cat man. 04 Sabercat 700 for me.

Ya, what about the employees now....no discount for them?
I sort of think it's a bad idea for all this employee discount stuff. Ya it's making people buy new cars, but what about the used car market? Thats going to be the problem now.

yeah, i can understand they are having to do it too to keep up with sales. but yeah, yo'll probably see it everywhere else as well. furniture stores (i keep thinking i've seen this already, like yesterday or the day before). yeah, there probably will be a problem in the used car market as well. in 3-5 years when everyone's leases run out, and when people decided that thier cheap new truck has too many miles on it at 50K they will try and sell it....along with the thousands of other people who bought at the same time. now if Ford had waited a year or 2 before jumping the wagon, would they still have good results? i dunno, buisiness and marketing is all messed up. buy used
never really ridden Artic Cat before. i ride a Honda rancher 4x2 and haven't been stuck in it yet. slick rocks, gumbo mud....i could use some new tires (donuts on dry ground do that to them....) i'm surprised that things still holds together, i've literally beat it to hell and back a couple times...
