My wife called from the road and said her engine was running rough at low rpm and low speed, once she gets up to hwy speed it is working fine. I'm thinking maybe some bad fuel? She stopped at a truck stop and a trucker told her it sonded like water in the fuel and to get a bottle of Isopropyl alcohol and dump it in the tank. Never heard of that one before. Anybody got anyother ideas?
I always herd that Alcohol of any kind was a big NO NO in diesel fuel. I personally would use a high quality Diesel Fuel Aditive to help remove the water. If you look on some of the big brand name DFAs you will find "Contains No Alcohol".
