fuel pump fuse?

I have an 86 BII 2.9. can someone tell me if the HP fuel pump / relay/inertia switch has a fuse in the line? I see that it is said to have a fusable link but one manual said to check the fuse and replace it if it is blown.

The fusible links on these are simply short pieces of wire that are one or two gauges smaller than the main circuit wire. On my '87, the fusible links are coming off of the starter relay on the fender.
