towing capacity

hello fellow ford fans. I have a 2004 Ford ranger 5 sp manual 3.0 v6. my question is what is the towing capicty of a my truck? and when towing should i not use 5th gear.

Try the search tool. there have been many posts in this forum on towing with a Ranger. I think you will find your answers in a search.

The towing answer is found in your owners manual and is dependent on your axle ratio.
