push button start .... how?
hey guys im having wiring problems so i trying to figure out how to hook up the wires on the ingition to a couple of toggles and a push botton its on a 1973 F-100 4x4 with a 360/390.

Are you going to use any of the original wiring, or run all new?
If you are going to run all new, you need a hot wire running from the battery to your bank of switches. Preferably you will have a fuse/circuit breaker or fusible link on this line near where it hooks to the battery +.
This hot wire will feed an on-off switch. The on-off switch will feed part of the fuse box, and feed a resistor that runs to the coil +.
The hot wire from the battery + will split and also feed a momentary on-off switch. This momentary switch will feed a wire that runs through the firewall and hooks to the starter relay to make it crank. The factory runs this wire through a neutral safety switch also.
