Front Windows Binding

I recently installed in channel window vents on my 04 SCab. Everything fit nicely. When I tried to roll the windows up, however, the windows would not go the whole way up. Did anyone else have this problem on initial install?

Make sure the metal retaining clips are pushed all of the way in.

Thanks for the tip, but there are no metal retaining clips. These just slides right into the window channel.

don't know if this is a help to you ....and if you are talking about the plastic models that just fit in, I was getting some of the same problem when the window was going up near the top. I don't know if this is just a summer problem because I did not have the problem during the winter, however, I found that by leaving the window all the way up and letting that part of the truck sit in the sun for a couple of hours that it eliminates a lot of it for a while....I have to do this every once in a while during the summer months...

Thanks, bobri. That just may be what the problem is. They need to work themselves in a bit. I'll give it a try.

I don't know if it is the way they are designed and twist a little in the heat along with some very minor expansion with the windows down. hope it works for you.
