I have to repaint the black window pillar (between the front and rear doors) on my 94 Explorer. Anyone knbow the exact color? It looks like a satin or flat black color...but not sure. It might be some custom Ford color.
Auburn, there's a Matte Black listed for the 94 Explorer, that's for the 'lower two-tone'. It's number M6388G. I'm not sure if it was also used on the upper door pillars or not....?
You could probably get away with using a spray can of Satin Black. I've used it on Mustang trim before, and it's a very good match for the Ford trim colors. If you go this route, be sure to use either Satin Black or Semi-Gloss Black. Flat black is too dull, and gloss black is too shiny.....
