I just bought my second Ford vehicle with a second keyless entry transmitter. Is there any way to program one transmitter for both vehicles?
These things seem to fit okay into womens purses but they make a pretty big wad in my jeans pocket.
The only problem with that is, both vehicles are parked in your driveway, you hit the button, and both unlock, or lock. Not worth the headache. I just ditched the wife's Explorer key fob and keep mine on my chain--I use the keypad to get in her vehicle, or the key.
I have a friend who did that. Follow the program instructions for each vehicle with the same fob.
He does say it's kind of a pain to have to remember to hit the lock button after he starts what ever vehicle he IS taking, but he likes the fact that you don't have to have 2 fobs on his keychain.
Also, don't forget that if you do it, and you accidentally hit the PANIC button, you'll have TWO vehicles yelping. Don't ask me how I know this.........
