Well so far its looking pretty good. Plz be sure to keep us informed as to what your doing nxt and be sure to post the pics. Soon as we're able to get my wife's '77 EB to our new location we'll be slowly starting it. Altho atm she just wants to get it back on the road then we'll work on what fun stuff we get to do to it.
Well thanks for the update and do keep us abreast of the project. Doing well for being 15 and the work looks good. I have a boy that is 15 also and working on his first project. It's not a Eb but a BII, still that is a good learning experience for you kids growing up. Really impressive to see a 15 year old take an active interest in hands on mechanic work. Keep it up.
My dad has had me in the garage sence i was old enough to walk. well my mom didnt agree but my dad did. i have been driving sence i was 10 so i cant wait to get my license next year. But i got a question for anyone im ordering a suspension lift from wild horses and it says specify year and type shock below then one type shock is a 9000X i just want to make sure it is the right one. here is the site. http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/35.asp im getting the 2 1/2 system 2. the only funny part of this project it was supposed to be a father son project. my dad hasnt worked on it yet lol well i guess he works all day.

Looks like you have two choices, the standard it the Wildhorse shock which doesn't look to be a bad shock at all. The other is a kit with Rancho 9000 shocks. These are very good an have adjustable settings. I run a set on my 02 F-150 and really like them. So the choice would be which shock you would like to have. If you are rally gonna be out there pounding them or if you want to adjust from off-road stiffness to highway comfort the the 9000 are the way to go. If you are just needing a good combination shock that will work pretty good all around then save yourself the money.
From what I read about them you would have no problem with normal play and fun s0 I'd take the money and use it on something else. Good luck and keep up the progress.
