'88 E250 owner? Please help identify some wires
Howdy, I'm a newbie here. Some of you might know me from the allfordmustangs forums.
I bought this van. It's a fuel injected 4.9 (my favorite straight six). The previous owner had a couple of real hacks work on it. One of them cut some wires...
There are two pairs of wires which come out of the same harness as the diagnostic plug for EEC, kind of behind the battery.
The first pair has a Red wire with a white stripe, and a Black wire. I have no idea what these are, or where they go.
The second pair has a Yellow wire and a Black wire, both of which go into fusible links that have Blue wires coming out. I suspect these end up at the solenoid. But how?
I have another group of cut wires down in front by the starter solenoid.
There is a Blue wire with a white stripe, a Green wire with red stripe, and a Yellowish wire with a black stripe. I think these go to the solenoid.
Somebody must have a van like this, and if you can check it out for me, I'd be grateful.
