My search button isn't coming up so.... Anyways, I have a '78 F250 and I wanted yo know what year Ford 8 lug rims interchange with my '78. I like some of the '90's style but I don't know if they will fit.

geee thanking million already?? he hasn't even answered..... lol... i'm not totally sure, but i think up to 96 will fit, maybe 99 in the 8 lugs..... best bet is to try one b4 you pay for them... that's what i do.. i got caught by taking someone's word that they'd fit my truck...

I tried to get away from the split rims on my 76 f250. Don't know what truck the solid rims cam off of but they didn't fit exactly right
I was a little afraid of them but not as afraid as I was of those split rim killers

I believe Bull is correct in that with the ~96 year Ford went to a "Metric" bolt pattern that does not interchange (Dangerous) with the older (good) stuff. Older (non metric) 8-lug wheels use the same bolt pattern for GM and Dodge but the differences come in whether they are "hub-centric" or "lug-centric" and the size of the hole for the hub. I don't have specs for which applications will cross.

I have a set of rims off of a 96 F250. The polished 8 hole rim. They use a larger stud on the newer trucks but I haven't had a problem yet. They have been on for about 5 years or so.
