power door locks

i just bought a 1999 f250 powerstroke yesterday, and the power door locks dont work. WHen you push the button you can hear them attempting to work..both of them dont work...any ideas?

If they both try to work in both directions,you most likely need new actuators.
You can buy them from ford,and they are relatively easy to change.
