Coolest Hotwheels ever?
That was quite nice of you to leave some Harley five packs. I just hope a collector doesn't come in an get all of them. Hopefully some kid who just wants to have some fun gets a pack too. I walked into a CVS chain drugstore the other day and found a second Harley five pack and grabbed it. We opened this one and I put the 40 drag truck in with my other 40s and gave the rest to my kids to play with. Just visited a different Motor City die cast car specialty shop, Collector's Corner. They have several aisles full of HotWheels and Matchbox going back about 5 years all priced at $2 each.

Man,this is cool.Here I am surfing through the arcives and what do I find.A thread about Hotwheels,I`m always looking for cars and trucks to add to my train layout and then I stumble on this,too cool,

Yes, by matchbox. Mine's a late 70s F100 (78 or 79 i think) flairside, roll bar w/ lights, grille guard and flames...it's bad. I have it in my line of Fords. Says copyright year of 1982 but it's defintiely a 70s truck. none of the links work for me, they aren't blue or anything. Guess I'll look for the Ford Harley pack as well (how old is this thread?). Now i feel better about buying hotwheels as I am 19 and got into the Johnny Lightnings when they went to 3 for 5 bucks at KayBee. JL makes some bad muscle cars. -BBB

I just picked up a Johnny Lightning 69 Road Runner at mallphart,my best friend in highschool had one just like it.same color and everything.I like the ones that are realitic copies.They look cool on my train layout.One other thing,this was an old thread,but I had to dust it off and bring it back out,It is cool knowing that I am not the only one who likes them.By the way that road runner was only 4 years old when we were in highschool.

I just got another '23 T-bucket hotrod truck with flames. I do JL mostly for the muscle cars and the superb detail. Hmmm...do they 'kill' the links when a thread reaches a certain age? hahaha. Keep on collecting! -BBB
