I have a question i have a 91 F-150. For some reason the passenger side window will not roll down. I tested it at numerous locations and it has power when the switch is in the up position, but not in the down position. The passenger window will get no response from the drivers controll at all. I have replaced the switch and nothing. What could cause this?

1. I checked for power at the conection for the motor there is power going up but not down.
2. I checked at the back of the switch and the same senario.
3. I have tried 3 different switches to no avail.
I am not familer with fords i am fairly new to them so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also the D-side door just clicks when you try to roll it up and down i know it is the motor not locked up, but, i have heard that there is a plastic wheel inside the motor which seems to be striped can you buy just that wheel? Or does it need awhole new motor?

Welcome, are you sure you are checking the switch correctly? If you have pwr at the motor and have changed 3 switches either you are checking the wrong wire or there is a break in the wire between the switch and the motor. There is a kit for the gears in the pwr window motor. If the motor runs and nothing happens or it feels like it is locked up, take the motor mechanism out and take off cover and look at gears. Auto Zone sells repair kit includes gears and such. Best help will come from Haynes manual, best money I ever spent.
