low gas mileage
I have a 95 F150, 4x4, 4.9, manual shift, 139K and am the original owner. When it was new, I averaged 17 mpg but over the past year or so I only get 14 mpg.
I have changed spark clubs, air filter, cap and rotor, made sure the brakes were okay, switch from auto huibs to Warn hubs, keep the tires inflated 35-40 psi (235/75R15), replaced the oxygen sensor and PCV valve. Manifold vacuum reads a steady 21.
It runs fine except for a brief period when it has partially warmed up for 5 minutes. Then it hesistates when I'm accelerating. At all other times it runs okay, though it seems to lack the power it once did, not that it was ever an overly strong truck.
The check engine light has not come on since I replaced the O2 sensor.
Suggestions?

Just because the check engine light hasn't came on, doesn't mean it hasn't stored any codes. I recommend disconnecting your battery for at least 20 minutes to reset the computer(and stored codes). Re-connect it and check the codes after you have driven for at least an hour.

Okay, back from vacation.
If I've read the codes properly, I'm getting an "11" for the KOEO which means "system pass". Then I get "79" for the continuous memory, which according to my list means "A/C on during test", even though it wasn't and the compressor wasn't running.
When I turn the engine on, the check engine light blinks three times and then there is nothing.
I do have original fuel injectors in the truck. I've put cleaner in from time to time but it doesn't seem to do anything.
