You thought you were having a bad day!
<HR style="COLOR: #666666" SIZE=1>On the way home from work about 5yrs ago, I got on the turnpike at about 5:00pm. It was hot as hell that day. I got the truck up to about 80 mph. Stupid! Considering the tires on the truck were original from factory and dry rotted like "beef jerky". All of a sudden front left tire explodes wraps around suspension here I go across the median. And I thought I was going to die in this ford truck! Semi truck coming at me I yanked on the wheel to the right, went back across the median and creamed an aluminum sign that read Keep Off Median! Wow what a ride! After I pryed my *** loose from the seat and fingers from the wheel, I ascessed the damage to my baby Front end wasted and bed rail damaged from the sign going over my truck. I said to myself I'm not pay for this sign put it gear and hauled *** flat tire and all! 45mph no problem!! I went and bought new tires the next day. I just thought everyone might like to know what an aluminum sign would do to an f250 truck. Mangled bumper, hood, both fenders! Thanks and sorry for the long post!
