I've got a F250 4x4 that I use for a daily driver. I also use it pretty often to carry my 10.5' camper and tow my '71 Bronco. It has a 460 with an Edelbrock manifold and a carter carb in front of a C6. The engine is bored .060" over with a mild cam and the higher compression heads (This is the way the motor came....). Is this the best carb to use for my application? I need to keep gas mileage in mind also........
The reason I'm asking is that the carb needs to be rebuilt so I'd like to know if I should rebuild this one or buy a different type.
About the only time you should toss it, is if the throttle lingages are worn out and/or binding from wear. Other than that, the rebuild is the best choice
