increase MPG no less!!!
I want to squeeze the most MPG i can while maintaining 'normal' performance.
I own a 1989 F150 XLT Lariat 2wd....I have an 8 cylinder...not sure of cubic inches...thanks much! -oldmanshands

From what I have heard, the main thing is to keep your truck tuned up, with new sparks, filters (air and fuel), PCV valve, rotor/distributor/wires, etc., keep tire pressure at proper level and drive sensibly. Keeping the tailgate up rather than down also has been shown to be better. Use regular gas, not premium.
