I have owned a Sears inductive timing light for 20-something years and it has served me well. But I've been unable to figure out how to hook up my tachometer on one of my newer cars (yeah, a '91) so I guess I need to buy one of those new fancy - space-age - inductive timing lights that also shows RPM (with digitial advance, even). Apparently it picks up the tach signal from the plug wire that provides the light signal.
Equus sells a nice one like that for 99 bucks. I don't know Equus -- any comments on quality, reliability? Advice on selecting an advance timing light with tachometer would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Raul
