I have a 99 F-150 V6 and went to replace the hose from the pcv valve to the intake under the throttle body. I couldn't find a replacement hose, so I put the old one back on there. I then went to crank the truck up and it wouldn't crank. Is there something else that could be causing the truck not to crank? Did I mess something up?
Chris you didn't say what it sounded like when you tried to crank it. I know there is a rubber elbow in the line where you are talking about and one behind and sort of outer edge of the right head that is week in the bend and will break and suck air causing these codes. You can get these from the dealer or you can go to an auto parts store and make one out of tees and rubber vacumm plugs. Thats what I am running on mine now behind the head. The one under the throttle body I just got at the dealer it also comes with the rest of the line but I just took the elbow off. Yes they both went out at the same time so wartch out. Good luck
