guys got a problem with my 96 F150 clutch using the Mazda trans.
first thing i noticed at about 30k miles -1 or so starting the truck the clutch pedal stuck on the floor and the clutch engaged. nice huh ? anyhow looks like this is a pretty common problem with the integeral slave cylinder.
I noticed that topping up the fluid all was good, never had the problem when the weather was warm. except for now when the slave let go, no pressure clutch engaged and the fluid seeps right out of the thing. 90k miles now.
Get this my neighbors F150 90k miles is starting to do the same thing.
john
I just replaced the motor on my truck at 150,000 miles. I replaced the slave while I was in there, just for good measure. It wasn't leaking, but it sure sounds like yours is leaking. I'd get it fixed before it leaks hydraulic fluid all over your clutch disc.
