Wind deflector
Currnetly own a 96 PSD with 226k miles. Auto trans, 4WD, Quad cab. I also have a 26' Travel Trailor that I pull. Do any of ya'll have any knowledge as to what increase in mileage a deflector would give me? I currently get 14.9 just running and 11 when pulling the trailor. Do not want to invest in a deflector if it won't help dramatically.

I got a rough number from Dale at Tymar. His was telling me that he's experienced about a .5mpg effect to his milage. But he does admit that it wasn't a very scientific test and is a rough number. When he told me this I pulled mine off for a few weeks. The bug splatter that resulted prompted me to make the mpg sacrifice and put it right back on.
