The other day, I go to load stuff in the back of my supercab F150 and fold the front drivers seat forward for more room and I noticed a loud clicking coming from under the truck. I pull the seat up and fold it down again and there is that noise again. I try to wiggle the seat around to see if maybe somehow one of the bolts came loose, but everything is tight. So I take a look under the truck and find two hair line cracks where the seat is bolted to and another just infront of it. The clicking noise is when the movement of the seat pulls the metal past each other.
This is the bolt closest to the lower driverside seatbelt next to the door.
For now Im going to try to drill small holes at the end of each crack to keep them from spreading, then weld them together later.
Has anyone else had this problem? I did a search but found nothing on this subject.
