exploding ujoints jerry rigged up

i recently had a ujoint horribly torn up on my 93 bronco e4od and wasnt able to get one side of the joint past the groove for the snap ring to sit snuggly so i had to just sit it in there and jb weld it for the extra support until i get a new driveshaft. it only vibrates bad when under slight acceleration otherwise it seems fine but not like before of course. so i was just wondering how long it would be safe to drive like this, i wont get the driveshaft for about 4 days.

Jusy curious blackened, was this u joint factory or a factory rated u joint . Years ago on my f-150 i had repalced u joints with other brands and kept breaking or dropping my drive shaft. they were heavy duty and sold from a well known parts store. I got fed up and went to ford to purchase factory joints (danaspicer) and havent had to change them cept once in 8 years TR

Thats odd, the only reason you should drop a driveshaft is meybe the bearing cap came out of the yoke and that would meen your yoke is either broken or worn out too wear the caps are able too just slid out. The clips should also hold them in the yoke.
