I did the ccv mod to my 01 f350 powerstroke. If I leave it idle it will leak oil off of the engine. I then put it back to stock and took it to the dealer for waranty work to find the oil leak, they found nothing, even put die in the oil to find it and nothing. I drove it for a week and then decided to do the ccv mod again and it started leaking oil again. so I took it off and it stopped leaking oil. Any Ideas about this. thanks

If you have ANY! restriction at all it will cause a leak. No kinks, straight as possible and open on the end.
this makes alot of sense... there is a substantial amount of pressure coming out of my vent tube when i first start up.. i think due to high crankcase pressure as the fluids come up to temperature.. now, block off that flow and that pressure has to go somewhere... i would bet that would make something leak somewhere..
I will try it again, this time I will use a short hose, the last time I used a long hose that went from the engine all the way to the rear end maybe it got kinked somewhere. I will let yu guys know, thanks
