Problem solved:"rough running after starting"

The problem is solved thanks to the helpful suggestions from many members here, especially Max1775, cookie88, 18vtx00, and others including my prayers being answered by God about the issue.

The cause was a defective water in fuel/fuel heater sensor (code P1139.."Water In Fuel Indicator Circuit Malfunction") ....causing me to unplug the sensor connector to correct (short term).

This story is very interesting though...

My original symptoms were:
starts up OK when hot but when from cold, starts normal then 20 secs to 1 minute later (and not every time) starts to idle rough-choking and spitting for between 10 seconds to 2 minutes and sometimes dying with varying degrees of blue/white smoke out exhaust. After it gets thru this, it runs great on the road with power as if it never happened.
My symptoms degraded over a few weeks to where it happened almost every time it was started and even when warm/hot..

Recommended actions were:
Injection Control Pressure; weak or leaking High Pressure Oil Pump; an injector which is faulty; the anti-drainback valve is letting the HPOP reservoir drain; check fuel for steady stream of fuel for approximately 20 seconds, straw colored with no water, oil, or other contaminants; check for a restriction in the air filter and intake tube; check the wiring harness connectors at the CMP (camshaft position sensor); the ICP (Injection control pressure) sensor; IPR (injection pressure regulator); injector harness at the valve covers; check to ensure that your chip is still fully seated in the PCM; check for codes; due to the code P1139...Max1775 suggested to unplug the sensor on the side of the fuel separator housing and see if anything changes; replace the CMP; oil pressure in the rails; water in the IDM; a faulty IDM relay; oil level on the dipstick; changed the fuel filter...

Actions taken:
checked the ; leaking High Pressure Oil Pump; the anti-drainback valve in the HPOP reservoir; fuel for steady stream of fuel for approximately 20 seconds, straw colored with no water, oil, or other contaminants; for a restriction in the air filter and intake tube; the wiring harness connectors at the CMP (camshaft position sensor); the ICP (Injection control pressure) sensor; IPR (injection pressure regulator); injector harness at the valve covers; check to ensure that your chip is still fully seated in the PCM; check for codes; due to the code P1139...Max1775 suggested to unplug the sensor on the side of the fuel separator housing and see if anything changes; replaced the CMP; replaced the IDM relay; changed the oil and filter; changed the fuel filter; checked the 30 amp fuse, etc...

In fact, all was checked or changed as recommended except for Injection Control Pressure sensor; oil pressure in the rails; and water in the IDM....

The open question:what is it that the system does with this signal that makes it act this bad?????

I appreciate the honorable mention, though in retrospect it looks like all I did was send you on a wild goose chase. I guess at least now you know where everything is.

As to the open question. Fuse 30 in the central junction box provides power to the fuel heater and wastegate control solenoid. It also powers the unswitched (pin 86) sides of the PCM and IDM relays, so it's easy to picture how interrupting that particular power supply could wreak havoc. I imagine it would have eventually blown the fuse and shut the whole thing down.
