97 explorer exhaust
I want a louder exhaust on my 97 4.0 explorer sport 4x4. My old stock exhaust is starting to fall a part. I was thinking of a dual exhaust, but every where I've looked no makes any type of after market exhaust for my vehicle. Does anyone know where I could find a nice cheap exhaust?

Nice, and Cheap are conflicting objectives, but how much is cheap? If $230. is cheap then most auto shops around here will make custom duals with a glasspack. I've never seen Kits for Explorers or Rangers. Good luck in the search

Most shops will not do duals on Explorers because the pipes have to be run so close to the fuel tank and inlet line. I have seen it done though. I have seen it done without dropping the spare, but I was not impressed with the job that was done. Most that have duals have to lose the spare to get the pipes run correctly.
For the 4.0, I would just get a Magnaflow cat or Catco cat (2 in 1 out), put a Flowmaster Delta 40 or 50 series on, and use 2.5" pipe with a single side out.
