Can someone point out this lovely little noise makers location(97 f150 scab 4x4).I've had all I can handle so I would like to find it and render it noiseless unless it has ill affects on something else.Any help would be welcomed!thanks,jeff

 

it is located inside the GEM(generic electronic module) or CTM(central timer module).the module is located on top of the fuse panel inside the vehicle.2 bulk connecters with a 10 mm socket then remove the fuse panel.the mod. rides piggy back on the panel.i have been wanting to do it myself but i dont know if it will effect any other system.
