Where to find a Rowboat

I've been looking for several months with no luck. Where do I find a basic no-frills used aluminum rowboat? I'm convinced they don't exist out there or nobody thinks of selling them. I've looked in the want ad press - everything is power boats, sail boats, jet skis and kayaks / canoes - but no rowboats. I've tried ebay but most everything is far away. Any suggestions as where to look? Maybe I'm not looking in the right place??

try any of the marinas on rt 36.most have small 14 ft rowboats they use around the marina for maintainance. you might be able to make a deal with them on an older one. also boat rental places on the larger fresh water lakes like hopatcong, greenwood, sprucerun, and the like.

Well I did a little calling around and a friend of a boat dealer has one. Headin' down tommorrow night to pick it up. Used 12ft no frills rowboat, just what I'm looking for.

Hey is there any sort of registration I need with this or filing? From what I could tell with the DMV the answer is no.

boats 12' or larger must be titled and registered in New Jersey - up to 16' charge is $12
all motor boats (of any length) must be registered
a noterized bill of sale is sufficent for registration and title
must have sellers name, buyers name, HIN #, sale price, make and model
