I have been looking for seats (Leather) for my 99 F350 both front and back. I've looked on ebay and searched on google. I've only found two places that sells OEM Ford seats. 1st one is in Arizona ($2,700.00 plus shipping just for the front). ($1,800.00 for the back). 2nd was in Ohio ($1,700.00 for the front, $970.00 for the back). I have found a lot of Leather Seat Covers on eaby and google, but I'd like to try and buy the seats. I've also checked several "wrecking yards", but no luck either. I've pretty much decided to see if I could find cloth, instead of the leather. Anyone know were I could find some (cloth seats) without paying more for them, than I paid for my furniture in the living room. Thanks !
I actually prefer cloth seats. You don't stick to them as bad in hot weather. And they don't feel as cold in the winter.
If you can afford the time, wrecking yards are great, but you have to check them on a weekly basis.
i'm with you Kwik, mom n dad's Olds Intrigue has leather....i can't stand it, ESPECIALLY in south texas....i see leather heated seats...but what about "cooled" leather? i might could jump for that...
I'm with you guys! My wife just had to have leather in her new car, I can't stand it. Hot on warm days and cold on cool days (although it does have the seat warmers). I really like my stock seats, although that King Ranch Edition sure is pretty inside... I like the idea of the seat coolers, especially down here.
if i had the funds to make and market seat coolers, i kwo they'd be a hit. especially in the south. think of all the old folks who would want them, the young kids wantin them cause they'd be "cool", and those of us who don't mind the heat, but don't wanna get out of the truck with a wet back....
did you think of ordering the leather skins from Ford and having someone install them ?
I have leather, they look good, but hot in the summer and cold in the winter
