several questions
#1. I am getting a noise similar to blowing in a pop bottle coming from the front of my truck. The noise is low but constant. Accellerating or decellerating make no change. I just installed a brush guard and wondered if it is indeed wind noise? I also just had a new a/c condensor installed along with a trans. cooler (from a wreck, poor little s10) could one of these be the culprit?
#2. When I changed my shocks (Billsteins
#3. I have brake vibration but I have after market rotors and ceramic pads on the way I also know to torque lugs to #165 However almost overnight my truck is vibrating at around 70mph. So I searched this forum, rolled under the truck and shook the drive shafts. They seem fine but, is the yoke from the transfer case and rear axle supposed to have free play? I can turn the drive shafts (before actual wheel engagement) a good half inch or more each way
#4. when replacing my shocks the rear driver side top has a stripped out bolt can I have the shock tac welded or what. There is no way I can get a nut on the other side to bolt to.
sorry for the long post. any help would be great.
2.I noticed the same thing took it to the dealer and they told me it is just a dust seal and as long as no oil comes out it is no problem
3.Don't know same problem here.
4.I would tap in a new tred on it if you can.
Hope i helped you let me know if you need anything else

#4 - Isn't the rear top shock mount bolted in place with one of those U shaped speed nuts clips(two per shock). When I replaced my rear shocks, I bought new ones at the local auto parts store.
