Just to let everyone know how my trucks been. My truck is an 03 F-250 6.0. It's never been back to the dealer and has never been flashed. 100% stock. The only thing that bugged me was the puff of blue smoke when I start it in the morning. Well back in May I drove from western Iowa to Washington state round trip. Before I left my truck had around 24,000 miles. Since that trip my truck no longer puffs smoke in the morning. Guess it just needed a long run through the mountains. My truck has performed great since the day I bought it. It's quickly approaching 30,000 miles and I think my Perelli tires might just make it. BTW my truck's engine was built in march of 03 and my truck in april of 03. Looking forward to the future.
I sure do miss my pilot injection. I used to be able to use the drive through's for lunch and they could actually hear me place my order. Now I get the standard " Sir, can you please shut off your dang engine!" Oh well..

It sure is nice to have. I've only failed the drive through test once. I'd love to use some sort of power tuner but everyone I read about says the 03's have to have the current flashes done. I can't bring myself to eliminate my pilot injection. I wish they would have built new injectors so everyone could still enjoy what they really paid for. Its ashame they sell all new 6.0s with the pilot injection shut-off.
