1stI would like to say how cool of a site this is, and I am glad I found all this knowlage. Im thinking about buying a 1974 F-150 with a 79 clip on it. It has a 300 I-6 that has just been rebuilt. It has a 4-speed tranny. It has a little rust on the rear cab area, but it has a really nice bed. I dont know much about thease trucks, what should I look for when Im buying it? What tranny is the 4 speed? Is it a t-19 like behind the 6.9 diesels? What Transfercase is it? (Obvisously the truck is 4wd) It has a 9in in the back and a 44 up front. Thanks, and all feedback will be apreciated!
I have a 74 F250 4x4. I could tell you what you have in the F250 but am unsure of the 150. Anyway, my post should bump the thread back to the top so one of the 150 guys can get a shot at it.
Welcome aboard FTE. The search feature on this site is good too. You can find alot of info about your truck from past posts.
Have fun, Tim
