Exhaust Wraps?

Say made a great deal at a moving sale. This older women was clearing out her house before moving down to carolina. And she had alot of automotive stuff her son had left behind before he moved away last year. what got my eye was two
brand new roles of 2"x50' roles of exhaust wraps. Man i know this stuff sales for at least 30+ dollars a role. and i got then both for $4.00 yep $2.00 a role. My question is you think it would be worth using them on my 78 ford f-100 302?

I wouldn't.
Theres no need unless you have heat issues.
It gets dirty fast and is hard to clean.

i would use it on the headers if you have any if not don't use it.

The header wraps also contribute to rust problems.

what torque said. you can unload that stuff elsewhere though to someone that has a turbo motor. they like that stuff for controlling underhood heat. try places like turborides.com or ebay.
