Front shock mount split

Front shock mount split
After a bumpy chuckhole road, I happened to walk by the front right tire and noticed that the top mount for the shock had split down the middle and the top of the shock is out of the mount and flopping around. It looks like the top shock bracket is welded to the frame. Is this easy to fix? Looks like I will have to plasma cut off the old mount and weld in a new one. Are these top shock brackets available at a parts dealer or is this the kind of thing that requires a visit to the wrecking yard to cut one off? Any help is appreciated.
