Need Some Help!

I have a '94 Bronc. xlt...my intentions are to put my snowplow on it(came off a chev.) I need to know ALL trucks that have the EXACT same frame as the 94...not being a smart alec...but i want to hear from a professional, not a backyard mech. sippin a beer...as this will be a commercial vech. in the winter and my main source of income. I'm sure alot of guys will have opinions but I need facts. Thanks

I know that there are at least a few guys on here that work for Ford, but have you tried asking a local dealer. Someone at their parts desk might know. Just a thought. Let us know if you find your answer.

The 80-96 frames are the same, but the 92-96 frames have the 'crumple zone on the frame horns or the front of the frame. THis may or may not impact snow plow mounting. I'm not a current Ford mechanic, but two Uncles are, and they concur.

You took the snow plow off of a Chevy. Depending on how my you took it off determines what you need to do. The actual mounting brakets are going to be different as well as the width of the frame so you will need to check the brackets to make sure they will line up...Best to lay out all the parts and try the plow frame to make sure it fits and moves freely. Otherwise you could wind up binding and causing damage to your plow or the truck. Check also with a local plow supplier and they can tell you from the model number of the plow you have, what it will work on and what hardware you need. And by the way...not all backyard mechanics drink beer and alot of us have probably done more than alot of actual mechanics. We don't get specialized in one area and learn alot of usefull tips to getting things done.

O.k. Let me make myself clearer...I know My mount will NOT fit on my Bronco! IF I cannot find a mount to fit the Bronco..(Which is why I need to find out what frames are the same so I can get a used mount) Then I'll find an old beater '88 & up Chev. that I CAN put my mount on. i CANNOT justify spending $525 for a new mount in the area and town I live in. Thanks
