First Day

I have finished my first day of work at the MF dealer. I worked on a 655 swather and then a 750 combine. I also changed the serpentine belt on the boss's wifes car. I found out I start out at $9.50 an hour (will go up), not bad eh and work 8-5. So $85.5 dollars a day - 10% for income tax I make $77.

Your forgetting UI and pension deductions and if they have any employee health benefits. So that may come down to $50 a day. Did not mean to burst the bubble there. You will see o9n your first pay cheque. The good thing is the pride of having a job and feeling good about what you are doing and doing it well. If you can take pride in that then the job means more to you. As to your pay cheques you will learn to budget. That means food on the table roof over your head and clothes on your back. Those are the most important to budget for. Good luck with your new found journey into being an adult.
Your devil advocate here.

Day 2 over. Since I'm still at home I don't have to pay living expensese (yet). 99% of the money is going to the truck. I've found out that I'm full time. I should have the truck done in the end of september.

Too bad, everyone needs a little variety. Besides just working on farm machinery is too boring. Once in a while a nice shiny Ford would be great!
