how do you hook up the wireing for the ignition we had to replace it and dont know how the wires go can anyone help?

you state your truck is a 68 800. sorry but thats not a super duty. we have a section here labled 67 to 72 trucks. that has a lot of guys that have much better knowlage of the older trucks to help you. mainly us old farts.

hey vt., hope you dont get run off by that, there's abunch of good guys here. there are a few on here that i think have a diagram of the electrical or there are cd's on ebay i hear are of the origonal shop manuals. hopefully someone will be with you that has the diagrams. also you might be able to do a search of some of the threads here and find info that would be helpfull. welcome.

I can send you the wiring diagram for an F-100 to F-350 if that would help. I don't have any experience with the bigger trucks, however, I wouldn't think the ignition switch wiring would be too different. Hopefully, someone here has just what you need.
